The 2004 Ford Power Festival I am sorry, but the pictures have not been processed yet.
The coolest thing that happened at this show caught everyone by surprise, so I didn't even get a picture. During bracket racing eliminations a guy pulls up to the tree in a white Diesel 4WD pickup. It looked like a tow vehicle, standard looking truck tires. The track announcer makes a remark about his dial - in being wrong, it reads 10.90. There is no burnout, no noise, just the sound of a Diesel idling. When the lights go down, the driver quietly rips off a 10.82, one of the fastest runs of the day. The crowd was on their feet. Many walked over to the staging area to see what was under the hood, but since the driver broke out, he just drove right out of the gate and left. Many of us were wondering, what was that?
